Free Burgers at Bartolotta’s Northpoint Custard on Saturday, May 19
To celebrate the reopening of Bartolotta’s Northpoint Burgers and Custard for the summer, Northpoint will be handing out free burgers on Saturday, May 19th. The Northpoint free burger giveaway has become an annual tradition since they first opened in 2009.
The first 200 customers at Northpoint on Saturday will receive a free hamburger starting at 10:30 a.m. The Northpoint Burgers & Custard stand is located on Lincoln Memorial Drive, south of Bradford Beach.
This will be the fourth season that the Bartolotta Restaurant Group has operated Northpoint. For years, the North Point snack bar operated under Milwaukee County’s control. In 2009, Joe Bartolotta’s group took over control of the snack bar and turned it into an old fashioned custard stand.

Andrew Swofford, who operates MilwaukeeFood.com, recently reported that Bartolotta’s Northpoint Burgers and Custard stand will be reopening for the summer season on Saturday, May 15th.
The first 200 customers will receive a free hamburger, starting at 11am on the 15th. The Northpoint Burgers & Custard stand is located on Lincoln Memorial Drive, south of Bradford Beach.
Prior to last year, the North Point snack bar operated under Milwaukee County’s control. Then the Bartolotta Restaurant signed a five year lease to operate the location and proceeded to completely remodel the stand. Last year was the first year in business for the Northpoint Custard stand and they quickly gained a reputation for tasty burgers and other fare.

For many years, the drab North Point snack bar has operated under Milwaukee County’s control. The Bartolotta Restaurant Group recently signed a lease where they will operate the snack bar for at least 5 years. Bartolotta completely renovated the building, and will operate an old fashioned custard stand serving custard, burgers, brats, and other summertime fare.
