Marcus Theatres Founder’s Day 2011 Coupon Specials
Marcus Theatres is celebrating their 76th anniversary with coupon discounts available at all of their theatre locations. Through the end of this month, Marcus Theatres will be handing out coupons to anyone who attends a movie. We have also confirmed with Marcus that one coupon sheet is handed out per person and if you stop in at a theatre you can pick up a coupon too. In other words, no purchase is necessary to receive the coupons.
The Founder’s Day coupon sheet consists of two valuable offers:
- $4 movie admission
- $4 popcorn and drink combo
The Founder’s Day discount coupons are valid from Monday, October 31st through Thursday, November 3rd.

Marcus Theatres Frosty Flicks Schedule for 2011
The popular Frosty Flicks Series at Marcus Theatres kicks off this year on February 5th with a showing of Despicable Me. The series runs through March 20th with showings at 10am on Saturdays and 11am on Sundays. Admission is only $2 per person.
Note there are some changes from last year’s program. Last year showings were only on Saturdays, so it’s nice to see a Sunday option available now. Also, the ticket price has been reduced from $3 to $2 per ticket. However, the tradeoff is popcorn is not included with the ticket purchase like it was last year.
The Frosty Flicks schedule is as follows:
- February 5 & 6 - Despicable Me (2D)
- February 12 & 13 – Nanny McPhee Returns
- February 19 & 20 – Alpha & Omega (2D)
- February 26 & 27 – Cats & Dogs 2 (2D)
- March 5 & 6 – Legends of the Guardians (2D)
- March 12 & 13 – Megamind (2D)
- March 19 & 20 – Yogi Bear (2D)

Sign up for the Marcus Theatres Spotlight Movie Club and you’ll receive a weekly email with movie showtimes for your local theatre. Best of all, the email will contain a coupon for $5 admission to select movies on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
For example, this weeks email contained a coupon for up to four admissions to any of the following movies for $5 per person: Despicable Me, Grown Ups, Predators, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
