Free Veterans Day Meals for Vets on Friday, November 11th
Several Milwaukee area restaurants are honoring American veterans and active service military personnel by offering free meals on Veterans Day. The following restaurants are participating in a Veterans Day promotion this year:
- Applebee’s – Free Signature Entree
- Chili’s - Free meal (several to choose from) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m
- Famous Dave’s – Free Two Meat Salute – choose two different meats served with corn bread muffin, corn-on-the-cob and your choice of one side
- Golden Corral - Free meal on Monday, November 14th
- Hooters – 10 free boneless or traditional wings with drink purchase
- McCormick & Schmick’s - Free entree
- Outback Steakhouse - Free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage November 7 – 11
- Texas Roadhouse - Free lunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- T.G.I. Friday’s – Buy one get one free meals
- Uno Chicago Grill - 19.43% discount on food purchases November 7 – 11

KidsMealDeals.Com
A few weeks ago we wrote about local dining deals for kids at MilwaukeeMoms.com. We’ve found another website that compiles information about deals for kids. KidsMealDeals.Com is a national website that allows you to enter your zip code and search for kids meal deals within 5, 10, 15, or 30 miles of your zip code. Plugging in a few local zip codes resulted in information on Ponderosa, Fazoli’s, Golden Corral, Charcoal Grill, and Old Country Buffet. The database is very user friendly and informative; however, at this time it lacks the local touch that MilwaukeeMoms.com has with their list. Perhaps that will change over time as more people submit information into their database.

Golden Corral Military Appreciation Night – November 17th
Golden Corral will be hosting their 2008 Military Appreciation Night on November 17th from 5PM to 9PM. Anyone who has ever served in the United States Military will be provided with a free dinner during this special event. Details of the event can be found on the Golden Corral website. There are two Milwaukee area Golden Corrals – Waukesha (1673 Arcadian Ave.) and Kenosha (6208 75th St.).
