Free Admission to Betty Brinn Children’s Museum on Thursday
On Thursday night, admission to the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum is free as a part of their WaterStone Bank & FOX 6 Neighborhood Nights program. From 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on April 16th, patrons can enjoy free admission. There are special events for kids going on at the museum that night including a money presentation & art projects. For parents, there will be special booths set up to help adults learn new ways of positive parenting. The WaterStone Bank & FOX 6 Neighborhood Nights at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum take place every third Thursday of the month.
Free Arby’s Roastburger & Other Menu Items
We have more coupons available for free items at Arby’s. This time around it is coupons for a free Arby’s Roastburger with the purchase of a soda and fries, and a free Arby’s Roast Chicken Club with the purchase of a soda and fries. There are also a couple of coupons for a free Fruitea with the purchase of a sandwich, and a free Chocolate Malt Shake with the purchase of a Roastburger. The coupons are valid through March 31, 2009 and can be accessed on the Arby’s website.
One of the interesting things about running a website like this is seeing where traffic comes from and how people find us. A couple of weeks ago we did another post with a coupon for a free Arby’s Roastburger. A reader of our blog made a comment about how she didn’t like the Arby’s commercial for the Roastburger, where the Arby’s employee rubs a greasy hamburger through his hair. Since that comment, we have received several visits from people who were searching for “Arby’s commercial with guy rubbing hamburger in hair”. Apparently that commercial has struck a nerve with some people.
Free St. Patrick’s Day Bus Rides Today
Today’s free Milwaukee County Transit System bus rides are almost as big of a St. Patrick’s Day tradition in Milwaukee as green beer. This is the 16th year that MillerCoors (and its predecessor Miller Brewing) has sponsored this program on St. Patrick’s Day. According to the Milwaukee County Transit System, 27,000 rides were given away last year as a part of the MillerCoors Free Rides program. The free rides on Milwaukee County buses start at 6:00 P.M. tonight, and run until the end of regular service.
