Budget Cinemas on Highway 100 in Greenfield has been a long time favorite of those looking to see a movie in the theater, but not wanting to pay full price. Budget Cinemas is often the last stop for movies before disappearing from the theaters and appearing on DVD.  The appeal of Budget Cinemas is the low ticket prices - $1 on Tuesdays and $2 every other day.

Reviews for Budget Cinemas on Big Screen.com are mostly favorable.  Many reviewers have good things to say about the inexpensive ticket prices.  Frequent complaints seem to be about the cost of concessions and the overall condition of the building.

At one point, developers wanted to tear down Budget Cinemas to build condos and stores.  The current economic environment has put those plans on hold for the time being

What do you think?  Have you been to Budget Cinemas recently?  Does the cheap ticket price alone make Budget a deal?  Does it matter to you that concessions are expensive and the theater isn’t as clean and modern as full priced theaters around town?  Please leave a comment and let us know whether or not you think seeing a movie at Budget Cinemas is a deal!
