Check-in at Boston Store using Facebook or Foursquare to save $10
Boston Store is offering a deal for smart phone users who check-in using Facebook Places or Foursquare at one of their stores. Through November 23rd, check in using either social network and receive a $10 discount on your purchase of $30 or more. Present your phone at checkout to receive the discount.
This deal is valid at the Grand Avenue Mall, Bayshore Mall, Brookfield Square, Southridge Mall, East Towne Mall, Mayfair Mall, West Towne Mall, and West Bend Boston Store locations.
Boston Store Community Days Sale November 11-12
The annual Boston Store Community Days Sale takes place Friday and Saturday at all Boston Store locations. Community Days coupon books are available for purchase for $5 from participating community organizations, or they can be purchased at Boston Store during the sale.
Each coupon book contains several valuable coupons:
- 1 – $10 off on an item priced at $10 or more
- 1 - 20% off shopping pass that can be used over and over
- 1 – 30% Early bird coupon, valid Saturday only from 6am-10am
- 11 – Bonus buys
- 2 – Web Exclusive Offers
100% of the proceeds from the sale of the book benefit the organization from which you purchased the book. A list of participating organizations is available on the Boston Store Community Days website.
Boston Store Million Acts of Goodwill Sale 9/14 – 9/28
The Boston Store Million Acts of Goodwill Sale starts Wednesday, September 14th and runs through September 28th. For each “gently used” item you bring to Boston Store to donate, you’ll receive coupon for 20% off any item at Boston Store. (Some items such as cosmetics and fragrances are 15% off). There is no limit on how many coupons you can receive - donate ten items and you’ll receive ten coupons! As an added bonus, Wednesday September 14th is double coupon day – receive two – 20% off coupons for every item you donate!
In addition to the coupons obtained through making a donation, if you register on the Million Acts of Goodwill website, you will receive a 25% off coupon valid through the end of the sale. By registering, you’ll also have a chance to win a $100 gift card instantly and be entered in the sweepstakes for a $1,000 shopping spree.
Free Summerfest Tickets from Boston Store
Boston Store is giving away free tickets to Summerfest! To get your free opening day ticket, you’ll need to wear a Summerfest hat or shirt to a Boston Store location at Brookfield Square, Mayfair, Southridge, Bayshore, or Grand Avenue. Stop by the Service Desk and they’ll give you a free ticket. There is a limit of one ticket per person. The promotion runs through June 24th or while supplies last (there are only 100 tickets available at each location).
Boston Store announced this promotion on their Facebook page to promote the fact that if you don’t have Summerfest gear you can buy hats and t-shirts at any Boston Store location.

2011 Boston Store Goodwill Sale Starts Wednesday, March 9th
The 2011 Boston Store Million Acts of Goodwill Sale starts on Wednesday, March 9th and runs through Wednesday, March 23rd (the sale has been extended one day, to March 24th).
For each “gently used” item you bring to Boston Store to donate, you’ll receive coupon for 20% off just about any item. (Some items such as cosmetics and fragrences are 15% off). There is no limit on how many coupons you can receive. For instance, donate ten items and you’ll receive ten coupons. Through March 11th, you’ll receive double coupons for each donation – each item you donate will earn you two coupons!
Also, if you register your name, address, phone number, and birth date at the Million Acts of Goodwill website, you will receive a 25% off coupon valid for the duration of the sale. By registering, you’ll also have a chance to win a $100 gift card instantly and be entered in a sweepstakes for a trip to New York to see Live! with Regis & Kelly.
On a related note, Doris Hajewski of the Journal Sentinel recently reported that Boston Store is revising their coupon policy to no longer accept coupons on the deeply discounted Yellow Dot clearance items. The good news is that the new policy doesn’t take effect until after the Goodwill Sale is over and it appears will not prohibit the use of Goodwill Sale coupons for Yellow Dot clearance items in the future.
