Star Wars Event At Discovery World This Weekend
Star Wars fans will not want to miss a special event happening at Discovery World this weekend. On Saturday October 24th, Discovery World is hosting the 501st Legion, along with the R2-D2 Builders Group. The 501st Legion bills itself as “the worlds definitive Imperial costuming organization”, which is geek speak for a bunch of dudes in Star Wars costumes. According to the 501st Legion website, there are over 7,000 members worldwide who own costumes. In addition to all of the Star Wars characters that will be in attendance, there will be panel discussions with members of the 501st Legion and the R2-D2 Builders Group, and a raffle for some cool Star Wars prizes.
The Star Wars event at Discovery World runs from 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. , and it is free with your Discovery World admission!
