3 Day Air Tran Sale – One Way Flights from $44
AirTran has announced a special 3 day sale with rates on one-way fares as low as $44 per ticket. The least expensive one-way flight from Milwaukee is to Minneapolis/St. Paul or St. Louis for $49.
The sale ends on January 21st. A 10 day advance purchase is required and sale fares are valid only for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. It appears that if you travel on a Monday, Thursday, Friday, or Sunday the one way ticket is about $20 more than the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday sale fares.

Southwest Airlines Flight and Hotel Packages
Here’s a great opportunity to get away this winter and head somewhere warm!
Southwest Airlines has announced new vacation deals for flight and hotel from Milwaukee starting at $104 per person, per night. Book 9/28 – 10/30.
Destinations for this offer are Las Vegas, Orlando, Clearwater/Tampa, Phoenix, and Washington D.C.
The least expensive option is $104 per person, per night at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. Stays at the Excalibur start at only $109 per person and $122 per person at the Luxor.
For Disney fans, stays at a Disney value resort start at $181 per person. This price includes a 4 day Magic Your Way ticket with Parkhopper option.
Travel must be booked between September 28 and October 30th for travel between January 1st and March 10th of next year. Don’t forget that Southwest does not fees on the first or second checked bag (subject to baggage weight and size limits).
Cheap Travel! $1 Seats on Megabus
Megabus, a low cost daily express bus service, recently announced a promotion where they will be offering an additional 50,000 seats for $1 each for travel through November 19, 2009. You’ll need to use the promotion code HOTDEAL when booking to have a chance at the $1 fares.
Megabus is located in 30 cities in the US, including routes between Milwaukee, Chicago, and Minneapolis/St.Paul. Megabus amenities include new double-decker buses with free Wi-Fi, on-board restrooms, comfortable reclining seats and more. Visit Megabus.com for information on routes, schedules, and fares.
Megabus can be a great deal if you book far enough in advance. The first 2 seats on the bus are sold for $1 (plus $0.50 service charge). From there, the prices increase as more seats are sold and the date of travel comes closer. If you know your travel plans far enough in advance, you can get a really good deal. Reservations must be made in advance on the internet or over the phone. If you make your reservations over the phone, they charge an additional service fee.
