Free Ice Skating at Slice of Ice at Red Arrow Park
The Slice of Ice skating rink at Red Arrow Park is now open for the season. Red Arrow Park is located in downtown Milwaukee at 920 N. Water Street across the street from the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.
Slice of Ice can comfortably handle about 100 ice skaters, and is refrigerated, so it can stay open in temperatures as high as 50 degrees.
In addition to ice skating, the park offers a warming house with restrooms, lockers, skate sharpening, and a Starbucks.
Ice skating at Slick of Ice is free all season long! Skate rentals are available for $7. For Slice of Ice hours, take a look at the Milwaukee County Parks website.

Downtown Employee Appreciation Week Starts Today
If you work in downtown Milwaukee, check out the fun events and daily giveaways available this week for Downtown Employee Appreciation Week.

- Kil@wat - $6 Big Boy Burger at lunch. Also, get a complimentary dessert with the purchase of an entrée at dinner
- Old German Beer Hall - Free sausage & side with purchase of any beverage 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday - Friday.
- Schlitz Park Cafe - Free 20 oz. soda or bottle water with sandwich purchase.

Buy One Get One Free Skate Rental at Slice of Ice in Red Arrow Park
Rent two pairs of ice skates for the price of one at the Slice of Ice skating rink at Red Arrow Park with this week’s LivingSocial Families offer. For $8, you’ll receive a voucher valid for the rental of two pairs of skates. Red Arrow Park is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee at 920 N. Water Street (at the North East corner of Kilbourn and Water).
Although the description of the LivingSocial offer states that this deal includes “two general admissions”, admission to the Slice of Ice is always free. The only cost is ice skate rental. The LivingSocial vouchers can be used between 2 and 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
