2009 Cyber Monday Promotions
Today is Cyber Monday, the day thought to be the busiest online shopping day of the year. (According to Snopes, in terms of online sales, the day actually ranks historically as about the 12th busiest e-commerce day of the year.)
Two websites worth browsing to see if you find any deals that appeal to you are Amazon.com and Bing. Both are promoting deals that will last beyond Cyber Monday, and the Bing promotion is especially nice because you have a few more days to shop around.
Amazon.com is posting their best Cyber Monday deals here. Some deals are in limited supply but new deals are released throughout the day. You can conveniently browse through the deals or sort by category. Amazon will also be releasing new deals every day throughout the holiday season.
Bing, Microsoft’s search engine, is holding their Gold Rush promotion where you can receive special cash back percentages through December 2nd. However, perhaps today is the best day to take advantage of the cash back rewards if you can combine it with a Cyber Monday deal that the retailer is offering. Some examples of online retailers participating are:
- Ebay 10% cash back
- Macy’s 10% cash back
- Walmart 15% cash back
- Best Buy 5 to 10% cash back
- AT&T 35% cash back
- Kohl’s 10% cash back
In order to get the cashback reward from Bing, you need to search for the deal using Bing. To learn more about Bing’s cashback promotion, visit their tutorial.
