Free Skate Rental Tonight at Red Arrow Park Grand Opening
The Slice of Ice skating rink at Red Arrow Park opens today, December 8th, at 4 p.m. Red Arrow park is located in downtown Milwaukee at 920 N. Water Street (at the North East corner of Kilbourn and Water).
The Slice of Ice can comfortably handle about 100 skaters, and since it’s refrigerated, it can stay open in warmer temperatures - as high as 50 degrees! In addition to ice skating, the park offers a warming house with restrooms, lockers, skate sharpening, and a Starbucks.
Skating is free all season long! To celebrate this year’s opening, skate rental is free from 4-6 pm today. The normal price for skate rental is $7 per pair.
Slice of Ice skating hours in December are:
- December 8th thru 20th
- Monday thru Thursday - 11am to 9pm
- Friday and Saturday - 11am to 11pm
- Sunday - 11am to 8pm
- December 21st thru 24th
- Wednesday thru Saturday - 11am to 11pm
- Christmas
- 2pm to 11pm
- December 26th thru 30th
- Monday thru Friday - 10am to midnight
- New Years Eve
- 10am to 1am
