Wheel & Sprocket Bike Expo Sale 2012
The annual Wheel & Sprocket Bike Expo Sale takes place this weekend at the Wisconsin Expo Center located at State Fair Park.
The Wheel & Sprocket Bike Expo Sale is the nation’s largest bike sale. Over 2,000 bikes will be for sale along with thousands of accessories. This year’s Bike Expo will feature two stages with seminars ranging from training to nutrition to information about equipment. There will also be 40 different exhibitors on hand at the Expo. Admission to the Bike Expo is free!
Bike Expo Sale Hours
The hours of the sale are:
- Thursday, April 5: 4 – 9 p.m.
- Friday, April 6: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Saturday, April 7: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Sunday, April 8: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Although admission to the Expo is free, you’ll need to pay for parking in the State Fair parking lots. Free parking is usually available on the streets surrounding State Fair Park.

Wheel & Sprocket Bike Expo Sale 2011
The annual Wheel & Sprocket Bike Expo Sale, which is the nation’s largest bicycle sale, takes place from April 7th through April 10th at the Wisconsin Expo Center located at State Fair Park.
Over 1,500 bikes will be for sale along with thousands of accessories. Bikes are fully assembled and ready to ride. Every bike sold at the Expo has a 110% price guarantee, which means if you find the same bike selling for less within 30 days, they’ll refund the difference plus give you 10% back.
Hours of the event are:
- Thursday, April 7: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Friday, April 8: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday, April 9: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday, April 10: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Admission is free but you’ll need to pay $5 if you park at the State Fair. If parking at the Fairgrounds, you’ll need to enter at gates 4 or 5, which are located off 84th Street, and then proceed to the Wisconsin Expo Center. Free parking is usually available on the street in the neighborhoods around State Fair Park. For those who chose to ride their bike to the show, there is free, secure bike parking inside the Wisconsin Expo Center.
$5 Discount for the 2011 UPAF Ride for the Arts

If you ride your bike to the event, Wheel and Sprocket has a secure supervised area where you can park your bike for free. Just ride your bike up to the front doors of the Wisconsin Expo Center.

$5 Discount for the 2010 Ride for the Arts

Donate Your Old Bike to DreamBikes

If you’d like to donate your old bike, simply drive through gates 4 or 5 during the Bike Expo show hours, and drive to the East end of the Wisconsin Expo Center. You don’t need to pay admission if you are in and out within 30 minutes. Wheel and Sprocket Ski Clearance Sale
Wheel and Sprocket currently has a Ski Clearance sale going on through February 28th, or while supplies last. Skis are 50% off, boots are 30% off, and bindings are 20% off. Fischer skis and products are excluded from this sale.
The Appleton, Brookfield, Delafield, Hales Corners, and North Shore stores are all participating in this sale. The Oshkosh location does not carry ski equipment.
In addition, all Wheel and Sprocket locations are liquidating floor models of fitness equipment at prices up to 50% off of list price.
