Several Milwaukee area restaurants are honoring American veterans and active service military personnel by offering free meals on Veterans Day. The following restaurants are participating in a Veterans Day promotion this year:

Most restaurants require proof of military service.  Click on the above links for more information for each participating restaurant.

Milwaukee Admirals Veteran’s Day Special

In honor of Veteran’s Day, all Veteran’s and active military personnel receive free admission to the Admirals game on Saturday, November 12th.

To receive the free ticket, veterans should bring their military ID, American Legion or VFW Card, or a copy of the DD214 Form to the Admirals office during normal business hours or to the Bradley Center Box Office prior to the game.   There is a limit of one free ticket per veteran.

Game time is 7 p.m. and the Admirals will be squaring off against the Chicago Wolves at 7 p.m..

Free Meals for Veterans at Applebee’s & Chili’s on November 11th

Applebee’s and Chili’s restaurants are honoring our nation’s military by offering free entrees to all veterans and active military personnel on Veterans Day, November 11th.  Free meals will be available all day long, during regular business hours at both restaurants.  

Free entrees at Applebees include:

  • Three Cheese Chicken Penne
  • Bacon Cheeseburger
  • Fiesta Lime Chicken
  • Chicken Tenders Platter
  • 7 oz. House Sirloin
  • Double Crunch Shrimp
  • Oriental Chicken Salad

Menu items available at Chili’s are:

  • Oldtimer with Cheese
  • Wuesadilla Explosion Salad
  • Margarita Grilled Chicken
  • Cajun Chicken Pasta
  • Chicken Crispers
  • Chicken Club Tacos

Both offers are valid for dine-in only, and beverages and gratuity are not included. Proof of military service is required.  For more information see the Applebee’s website and the Chili’s website
