Valentines Day Deal – Texas Roadhouse
Looking for a great value on a Valentines Day dinner in the Milwaukee area?
Slickdeals.net has a featured deal for a Valentines Day meal at Texas Roadhouse. The deal varies slightly for each restuarant. I called the Texas Roadhouse in New Berlin and they are running a special for $31.99 which includes:
- Choice of Cheese Fries or Baby Blossom
- Choose two of the following entrees: BBQ chicken and ribs; 12 oz. ribeye; 12 oz prime rib
- A side order – choice of loaded baked potato, sweet potato, mushrooms and onions on your steak, ribs, or shrimp
This sounds like a great value! The special is good from February 12th to the 15th. If you end up going to Texas Roadhouse, be sure to call your particular restaurant to confirm the deal and arrive early since the restaurant is very popular. Also, I’d highly recommend smothering your steak – for a $1.99 you get sauteed mushrooms, sauteed onions, and your choice of brown gravy or jack cheese!

Tumbleweed gift certificates
Doris Hajewski from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that all seven Tumbleweed restuarants in Wisconsin and Rockford, Illinois have closed.
According to the Journal Sentinel, the Texas Roadhouse restuarant group has announced that anyone who holds a Tumbleweed gift card can redeem that gift card at any one of the ten Texas Roadhouse restuarants in Wisconsin. Texas Roadhouse isn’t affiliated with Tumbleweed at all…it appears they are just trying to build some goodwill with those consumers who have worthless Tumbleweed gift certificates. At the time of this post there wasn’t any information available regarding this promotion on the Texas Roadhouse website.
