sonicSonic Drive-In in West Milwaukee will be giving out free root beer floats tonight from 8:00 P.M. until 12:00 midnight.  Sonic is located at 2080 Miller Park Way.  The free root beer floats are the 10 ounce size.  Although the hype surrounding Sonic has calmed down since its opening back in February, it is still a very popular destination.  Free Float Night will surely be popular.

The Miller Park Way Sonic is currently the only Milwaukee area location, however additional restaurants are planned for Waukesha and Oak Creek.  More information about Free Float Night can be found on Sonic’s website.

sonic-logoIn February we wrote about Sonic’s new restuarant in West Milwaukee and how Sonic fans can earn free food by reloading their Sonic Card or enrolling in the Sonic Cruisers program.

Thanks to Coupon Cravings, we’ve learned about a breakfast sandwich coupon on Sonic’s website.  Click here to go to the Sonic website.  Just enter your email address and you’ll receive a coupon for a free CroisSONIC breakfast sandwich with the purchase of a drink.  (Keep in mind that you’ll be on a Sonic email list now, but you can always unsubscribe.)  The CroisSONIC breakfast sandwich is made with egg, cheese, and your choice of bacon or sausage.

If the Sonic by Miller Park is out of your way, perhaps one will be opening by you in the future. Metro Milwaukee Today recently wrote an update on the following Sonic projects in the Milwaukee area:

  • A Sonic is under construction in Waukesha on Moreland Boulevard
  • A Sonic is proposed at Waukesha’s Shoppes at Fox River
  • A Sonic should be under contruction soon in Oak Creek by Woodman’s on Howell Avenue
  • Sonic is aiming to open a restaurant in Greenfield, perhaps by the end of the year.

Sonic Drive-In Open in West Milwaukee

Sonic Drive-In opens their first location in the Milwaukee area today.  The restuarant is located at 2080 Miller Park Way in West Milwaukee.  More details can be found in today’s JSOnline article

Sonic has two ways to earn free food.  The first option is to purchase a Sonic Card, which works just like cash at any Sonic Drive-In (similar to a McDonalds Arch card).  Their website claims when you reload your card with $15 or $25, you could earn free Sonic food.  However, the website is short on details.  The second option is to enroll in the Sonic Cruisers program, which is the Official Sonic Fan Club.  Members receive a free surprise on their birthday, which is presumably some sort of food item.  According to one post found on the internet, the Sonic Cruisers program notifies you of special offers and also allows you to log in online to print coupons from the Sonic website.

Anyone aware of any Sonic coupons available without joining the programs mentioned above?  If so, please post a comment for our community to read, or click on the Contact tab at the top of the page to send us a private comment.

According to the Metro Milwaukee Today blog, Sonic currently has plans to open locations in Waukesha and Oak Creek.
