- Earth Day is this Wednesday – April 22nd. As a result, many advertisers such as Home Depot and Lowe’s are promoting products that are environmentally friendly and can save you money. Home Depot has a free workshop on living green on Saturday, April 25th at 10am.
- The SmartSource coupon insert has a few coupons that will help you save money while helping the environment:
- Coupon for $1 off any GE Energy Smart compact fluorescent lighting product.
- Coupons for $1 off purchases of Scott Naturals bath tissue and paper towels.
- Coupon for $.55 off Reynolds Wrap Foil From 100% Recycled Aluminum.

- At a time when many consumers are cancelling their gym memberships in favor of working out at less expensive gyms or at home, Gold’s Gym is coming to Waukesha. Gold’s is advertising the next 200 members will have $1 enrollment and membership at $24.99 per month (compared to regular rate of $49.99 per month). Gold’s Gym is located at 831 W. - Appliance World has a unique promotion for four days only. From April 17th to April 20th, any purchase made will be 100% refunded if the Brewers win the World Series in October. (In Appliance World’s radio and print ads they can’t refer to the term “World Series” so they state “if Milwaukee’s Baseball team goes to the Big Series in October and wins”.)
