flickr alan light Summer is ticking away.  Before you know it, kids will be back in school and the hot humid days will be replaced by cool fall days.  If you’re planning a visit to Six Flags before summer is over, you can save $20 on your tickets by purchasing them online at SixFlags.com

Through September 19th, everyone gets in for the children’s price if you purchase your tickets online.  Regular admission price at the gate for adults is $54.99, but you can get tickets for just $34.99 with this special offer. In addition to saving $20 per ticket, you’ll save yourself valuable time by avoiding the long ticket lines when you get to the park.

Six Flags also offers a Twicket option once you are in the park.  For $20.59 you can return for a second day of fun on a future day.  You can redeem your Twicket any time until November 1st, which means you can return for Fright Fest in October for only $20!

In keeping with the theme of our previous Great America posts, we have chosen to use a vintage picture of Great America from 1976 taken by photographer Alan Light. If you remember going to Great America in the 70′s or 80′s, you might want to check out Alan’s photos for a trip down memory lane.
