Festa Italiana 2009 – Free Admission Promotions
Festa Italiana takes place this week in Milwaukee on Thursday July 16th through Sunday July 19th. Tickets are $12 at the gate. Advance tickets can be purchased for $10 at Piggly Wiggly stores, North Shore Bank locations, and Sendik’s stores (Balistreri owned and operated). Advance tickets can also be purchased at the Italian Community Center (631 Chicago St., Milwaukee) between 9am and 5pm. Advance tickets include one raffle ticket.
If you’re looking for a way to get into Festa Italiana for free this year, it shouldn’t be a problem. There are many different ways to obtain free admission!
Kids 12 and under are free every day when they are accompanied by an adult.
You can also get a free Festa Italiana admission voucher or ticket at participating Pick n’ Save and Copps Food Center stores when you purchase one 12 pack of Peroni beer. The offer is valid 6/21 to 7/19 and the ticket or voucher is redeemable at the main gate.
Here are specific daily promotions for free admission to Festa Italiana:
Thursday, July 16
2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Present your Piggly Wiggly Preferred Club card at the mid-gate for free admission.
2 p.m. to closing. U.S. Cellular Day. Present your U.S. Cellular phone at the mid-gate for free admission.
2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Bring the entire UPC side panel from one box of Palermo’s Primo Thin, Rustico or Hearth Italia pizzas to the mid-gate for free admission to grounds.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. VIP day for those with disabilities. People with disabilities, along with their caregivers, receive free admission, half-price on all food items and soda, while the grounds are closed to the general public. Sponsored by ICare and Summerfest.
2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Potawatomi Day. Show your Fire Keeper’s Club card at the mid-gate and receive $2.00 off.
Friday, July 17
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free Admission for everyone! Compliments of the Italian Community Center.
Saturday, July 18
Free admission all day to Festa when you present your ticket for the Def Leppard concert at the Marcus Amphitheater!
Sunday, July 19
10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. South Entrance Only. Free addmission to Festa when you attend High Mass in the Marcus Amphitheatre, followed by an authentic Italian religious street procession through the Fest site.
All day – Bring the entire UPC side panel from one box of Palermo’s Primo Thin, Rustico or Hearth Italia pizzas to the mid-gate for free admission to grounds. Palermo’s Pizza, the Official Pizza of Festa Italiana!

Free Rides for Kids and Adults
This is a great value for the family. There will be 15 major amusement park rides located throughout Festa Italiana. Both kids and adults can ride for FREE all day and night!

You must cut the coupon from the newspaper and present it when you purchase your Summerfest ticket at the ticket window. Copies of coupons will not be accepted and only one coupon per person.

Page 2A has a coupon for Panera Bread. Get a free frozen lemonade with the purchase of Panera’s new chopped cobb or strawberry poppyseed salad. Coupon expires 7/31/09.
