Fox 6 recently did a report on Milwaukee area dining deals for kids.  The piece mentions deals for kids meals at The Chancery, IHOP, Applebee’s, Perkins, Denny’s, and Crawdaddies.  Although the report talks about many of the restaurants that we mentioned in our post on this topic back in February, the story is still worth watching.  As we wrote about then, MilwaukeeMoms.com has a list of Kid Friendly restaurants that offer special deals for families.

WKTI May Be Gone, But the Half Off Hookup Isn’t!

As most Milwaukee area radio listeners know, last week 94.5 WKTI became 94.5 Lake FM in a surprise format change.  As we wondered the day of the announcement, what was going to become of the Half Off Hookup promotion with the change?  Our question was partially answered on Friday when the scheduled sale of gift certificates to Tadpoles in Delafield went on as normal.  The Half Off Hookup website is still active and has several offers available now, and several offers coming up in the next several weeks.  An offer is scheduled to go on sale at 9:00 tomorrow for Eduardo’s Natural Pizza Restaurants.  This offer is the typical $50 worth of gift certificates (5 – $10 gift certificates) for $25.  The nice thing about this offer is that unless you read MilwaukeeConsumer.com, you wouldn’t know about it.  So, the competition to get the gift certificates (only 100 offered) shouldn’t be as tough as it would be if it was being promoted on the radio.
