Buffalo Bills Christmas Trees
This past weekend I took my family to Buffalo Bills Christmas Trees in Franklin, Wisconsin. It was our first experience there, and while there aren’t any sales or coupons, I believe Buffalo Bills provides a great value for Milwaukee area consumers.
You can purchase a pre-cut Christmas tree or cut down your own tree. We chose to take a short walk into the tree farm and cut down a beautiful, recently shaped Scotch Pine. I was a little concerned that it would be difficult to cut down the tree, but it took less than thirty seconds using the saw provided by Buffalo Bills. After dragging the tree back (which was a great workout), the employees shook the tree and tied it up (all for free) while our family enjoyed free cookies, hot cider, and hot chocolate. Our kids also made their own Christmas ornaments and had their faces painted.
The Scotch Pine cost about $35. Buffalo Bills had a variety of trees available, and if memory serves me correct most were about $35. The most expensive variety was about $45. Considering these prices are less than or equal to what you’d pay at a local temporary stand, this is a pretty good deal for the experience you receive.
