Red Arrow Park Opens Tomorrow
The Slice of Ice skating rink at Red Arrow Park opens tomorrow, December 9th. Red Arrow park is located in downtown Milwaukee at 920 N. Water Street (at the North East corner of Kilbourn and Water). The Slice of Ice can comfortably handle about 100 skaters, and since it’s refrigerated, it can stay open in temperatures as high as 50 degrees!
Skating is free all season long! Skate rental is $7 per pair. Skate sharpening is $6 per pair. Hours are:
December 2010 Hours
- December 9th thru 21st
- Monday thru Thursday – 11am to 9pm
- Friday and Saturday – 11am to 11pm
- Sunday – 11am to 8pm
- December 22nd thru 24th
- Wednesday thru Friday – 11am to 11pm
- December 25th
- 5pm to 11pm
- December 26th thru 30th
- Sunday to Thursday – 11am to 11pm
- December 31st (New Years Eve!)
- 11am to 2am
January 1, 2011 thru Closing Day
- Monday thru Thursday – 11am to 8pm (with skate rental starting at 2pm)
- Friday and Saturday – 11am to 11pm
- Sunday – 11am to 8pm
Besides free skating, the park offers a warming house with restrooms, lockers, skate sharpening, and a Starbucks.
