Free Admission to Chicago Museums

flickr-hibinoAre you a Discovery World Museum member?  If so, you can get free admission to hundreds of other museums throughout the country, including several Chicago museums.  The Discovery World Museum is part of the Association of Science-Technology Centers ASTC Travel Passport Program which gives members free reciprocal admission to more than 300 other museums.  Chicago museums that are included in the reciprocal program are:

  • Museum of Science and Industry (Regular admission price – $13)
  • The Field Museum of Natural History (Regular admission price – $15)
  • The Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum (Regular admission price – $10)
  • Chicago Children’s Museum (Regular admission price – $10)

Now here is the best part….

You can get a family membership to the Discovery World Museum for $37.50 this week by taking advantage of the half price membership deal being offered by 3 Milwaukee radio stations.   99.1 WMYX, 103.7 Kiss FM & Sportsradio 1250 all are offering memberships to Discovery World for half price starting at 12:00 noon on Friday.  Click here to be taken to the 1/2 price gift certificate program being offered by the three stations.
