Free Admission to Betty Brinn Children’s Museum on Thursday 4/15
On Thursday evening, April 15, 2010, admission to the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum is free as a part of the WaterStone Bank & FOX 6 Neighborhood Nights program. From 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. museum visitors will receive free admission.
The Betty Brinn website mentions the following special activities will be held during the event:
- AWEsome Art! (5:00 – 8:00 P.M.)
Join Museum educators and professional artists from Artists Working in Education to create a unique piece of art to take home, and help create a collaborative art piece for display in the Museum. See a new collaborative art piece display in the Museum. For children ages 3 and older. - Parenting Tools and Resources (5:30 – 7:30 P.M.)
Families may stop at a variety of booths to learn new ways to foster positive relationships and try fun activities together. For adults and children. - Money Minders (6:00 – 6:30 P.M.)
Children will enjoy money-related stories and games, practice making financial choices and use play money to “purchase” a light snack. Parents learn how to develop their child’s financial vocabulary, establish good financial habits early on, and encourage thinking about earning, saving and philanthropy. For children ages 4 and older.
The WaterStone Bank & FOX 6 Neighborhood Nights at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum take place every third Thursday of the month.
