Wisconsin Do Not Call List
Here’s some helpful information for Milwaukee Consumers to avoid calls from telemarketers. Call 1-866-966-2255 toll-free in Wisconsin to have your residential and/or mobile telephone line added to the list. Alternatively, you can visit the No Call website.
According to the State, the date you sign up determines when your telemarketing calls should decrease. Updated lists are sent to telemarketers on a quarterly basis. For example, if you sign up before Monday, December 1, 2008, your number will be released on the quarterly list on January 1, 2009.
As a reminder, consumers must renew their registration on the list every two years. Although you may have registered for the list in the past (the list was effective January 1, 2003), it is possible you need to register again.
