Guide to Milwaukee Area Ski Hills
A great way to enjoy the outdoors during winter in Wisconsin is to visit a local ski hill. Although skiing and snowboarding can be expensive, all area ski hills offer some sort of regular discount. The key to saving money is to plan ahead and take advantage of discounts that are available. We’ve compiled a list of the ski resorts less than an hour away from Milwaukee, along with links to their special offers and promotions.
Alpine Valley Resort

- Tremendous Tuesday – (10am to 5:30pm) Two lift tickets for $41.
- Wednesday – Men’s Day – (10am to 5:30pm) $27 lift tickets
- Thursday – Ladies Day – (10am to 5:30pm) $27 lift tickets

Crystal Ridge
7900 W. Crystal Ridge Dr., Franklin, WI 53132 Phone: 414-529-7676Crystal Ridge offers discounted rates for groups of 15 or more. According to their website, seniors 65 and older ski free, and children six and under ski free with the purchase of one regularly priced adult lift ticket.
If you purchase a season pass at Crystal Ridge, you can also get discounts at their sister areas. The sister area discount is a half price lift ticket for yourself when you show your Crystal Ridge Season Pass at any of these areas: Devil’s Head, Grand Geneva, Nordic Mountain, Sunburst, Wilmot, and Camp 10 in Wisconsin; Sundown and Ski Snowstar in Illinois; Wild Mountain and Powder Ridge in Minnesota; and Great Bear Recreation in South Dakota.

Sunburst

Offers include a Family Learn to Ski deal on February 20th, 27th, March 6th, and 13th. For only $80, get lift tickets, ski rentals and a beginner ski lesson for your immediate family. Children must be 6 years or older to participate in the group ski lesson.

The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva
