Pick ‘n Save Big Pay Back Premium Promotion
Pick ‘n Save has a Big Pay Back promotion in progress where shoppers earn one Big Pay Back Premium for every $35 spent in a single order. Premiums can be earned through December 19, 2009 and redeemed for Pick ‘n Save gift cards between now and December 26, 2009.
The redemption values are:
- Get $10 in free groceries when you redeem 15 premiums
- Get $20 in free groceries when you redeem 30 premiums
- Get $30 in free groceries when you redeem 45 premiums
- Get $40 in free groceries when you redeem 60 premiums
Compared to a premium offer that Pick ‘n Save ran in June of this year, this isn’t as sweet of a deal. With the June promotion, shoppers earned $10 of free groceries if they spent $300 on groceries. There was also an incentive in place that as more premiums were earned, a higher ratio of free groceries to premiums redeemed was possible. This type of incentive does not exist in the current Big Pay Back promotion, so you might as well redeem your premiums as soon as you’ve collected 15.
To maximize your savings, we suggest you also check Coupons.com to print free coupons before you head out to the grocery store.

I went to Pic N Save to redeem my “premiums”. I was told that since I only had 10 premiums I couldn’t get a store credit. This is fraud. The wording on the receipts says:
You have earned 1 Premium.
But there is nothing on there that says there is a minimum of 15 premiums that need to be presented in order to redeem them.
They claim that they posted signs telling customers of the 15 premium requirement. I never saw those signs. No clerk ever pointed out those signs. Doesn’t the law require more than just a sign? Why couldn’t they print out the full requirements on the slip you receive.
Of course this is just a small amount for each customer but it represents money that was not paid back to the consumer as promised. I will increase my shopping trips to Woodmans and will switch my banking account from Tri City to another convenient bank so I don’t even have to walk in the door of Pic n Save.
Why did the pick n save close on Bluemound road? I went to V Richards and then they were closed too. I had to drive all over looking for another place to shop. And here I was trying to save money with double coupons on a Wed!
Jose,
Thanks for the comment. The Pick ‘n Save located on Bluemound Road is just closed temporarily while the store is remodeled into a Metro Market, which apparently is a higher end grocery shopping experience. Last we heard, a CVS store was going to go into the V Richards store plaza.
