Summerfest Promotions for This Weekend
It is hard to believe that Summerfest 2010 is almost over. If you haven’t made it down to the festival yet, time is running out. The good news is that even though the gate price is higher on the weekend, there are still ways you can get in for free. Here are the details of what is happening this weekend:
Saturday, July 3rd
The headliner at the Marcus Amphitheater is Rush. Tickets are still available. Headlining on other stages are Counting Crows, Peter Frampton, and John Haitt.
Regular gate admission prices:
- Adult – $15
- Seniors (over age 60) and Children (3-10) – $3
From noon until 3pm (or while supplies last), it is CBS 58 Milwaukee/MDA Day. The first 1,500 patrons contributing $10 or more to the Muscular Dystrophy Association will receive one free admission ticket. Donations accepted at the Mid-Gate promotions tent.
Sunday, July 4th
The headliner at the Marcus Amphitheater on the final day of Summerfest is Carrie Underwood. Tickets are still available. Headlining on other stages are Danny Gokey, DEVO, and the Average White Band.
Regular gate admission prices:
- Adult – $15
- Seniors (over age 60) and Children (3-10) – $3
From noon until 3pm it is Summerfest “Free ’till Three Day”. All patrons attending Summerfest on the final Sunday between Noon and 3:00 pm will receive free admission compliments of Summerfest!
