German Fest 2010 Admission Promotions
Next up on Milwaukee’s summer ethnic festival schedule is German Fest. Billed as “Milwaukee’s Original HAUS Party”, German Fest is the largest German festival in the country. 2010 marks the 30th anniversary of the festival. German Fest runs from Thursday, July 22nd through Sunday July 25th. German Fest features six stages of entertainment, authentic German food and nightly fireworks.
Admission at the gate is $13 for adults, $7 for seniors and students, and free for children 12 and under. $10 advance tickets are available at Pick ‘n Save stores, however the best way to get into German Fest is for free. There are are several admission promotions for free admission throughout the festival.
Thursday, July 22nd
Admission to German Fest is free all day! In addition, all guests will receive a 2 for 1 admission coupon to be used any other day of the festival.
Friday, July 23rd
4:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. - Rollback to 1981. Admission price is rolled back to the price in 1981 - $3.
3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. – Free Admission for Handicapped and an Escort. Free admission for handicapped individuals and their escort at any gate.
All day – Free Admission for Military Personnel. Free admission for active military personnel and their families.
Saturday, July 24th
All day – Free Admission for Military Personnel. Free admission for active military personnel and their families.
Sunday, July 25th
10:30 A.M. – Free Admission After Church Service. Free admission to German Fest when you attend the church service at the Marcus Amphitheater.
1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. – Hunger Task Force Food Drive. Free admission with the donation of non-perishable food items to benefit the Hunger Task Force of Greater Milwaukee. North gate only.
2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. – Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Coupon. Free admission with the coupon found in Sunday’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
All day – Anniversary T-shirt Promotion. Buy a German Fest 30th Anniversary t-shirt during your visit any other day of the festival, and wear it Sunday for free admission.
All day - Free Admission for Military Personnel. Free admission for active military personnel and their families.
