driveinmovieWant to have a fun family night out but don’t want to pay the big bucks?   Why not try a good ‘ol drive-in movie? Granted, drive-in theatres are few and far between these days but thanks to Fair Flicks at State Fair Park, the feeling of yesteryear is back.  It’s a great way to spend time with friends and family and enjoy the beautiful Wisconsin weather without breaking the bank.

State Fair Park is offering Fair Flicks, a series of outdoor double-features at the fairgrounds.  Movies are shown on Friday and Saturday nights in July.  Admission is $15 per carload or $10 for any vehicles that bring at least four nonperishable food items for the Hunger Task Force.  Walk-ins pay $5 per person.

Fair Flicks are showing in the north parking lot and moviegoers can enter at Gates 6, 7, or 8. Gates, food, and snack vendors open at 6:30 p.m. with the first movie starting at dusk (approximately 8:30pm).

Movies:
July 10: Shrek and American Graffiti
July 11: E.T.  The Extra-Terrestrial and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
July 17: Sleepless in Seattle and Goldfinger
July 18: Spider-Man and Iron Man
July 24: Raiders of the Lost Ark and Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008)
