Fright Fest, the annual Halloween tradition at Six Flags kicks off Saturday, October 3rd and runs through November 1st. Fright Fest is more than just Great America being open in October. During Fright Fest, the entire park is redecorated and attractions are re-named and re-themed for the event. Great discounts are available if you purchase your tickets on SixFlags.com.
Dates and hours of operation are as follows:
- Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Sundays, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Fridays, 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. (not open Friday, Oct. 2)
- Sunday, Oct. 11, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Monday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Six Flags is offering some great ticket discounts for Fright Fest. If you purchase your tickets online you will receive $25 off the gate price for visits between October 3, 2009 – October 12, 2009! The online price is only $29.99. For visits between October 16, 2009 – November 1, 2009 the price increases to $34.99, still a $20 savings over the gate price of $54.99.
