On Wednesday, March 3rd, Pick ‘n Save will allow shoppers to double up to 10 manufacturers’ coupons.  The Pick ‘n Save Double Daze coupon policy normally allows doubling of up to 5 coupons every Wednesday.  Here are the terms:

  • Customers must present their Advantage Plus Card at the time of checkout to double manufacturers’ coupons.
  • Customers must spent $25 in a single transaction to double manufacturers’ coupons. The $25 amount is before tax, and after store coupons and Advantage Plus discounts.
  • Only manufacturers’ coupons with a face value of $1.00 and under can be doubled.
  • Does not apply to manufacturers’ coupons that are not valid for doubling.
  • Does not apply to alcohol and tobacco manufacturers’ coupons.

Browse Coupons.com, RedPlum.com, and Smartsource.com to find manufacturers coupons that you can double on Wednesday.

Update:  Thanks to one of our readers, Jessica, who contacted us to point out that Pick ‘n Save might not accept some internet coupons.  We called a few Pick ‘n Save locations and they stated that they do accept internet coupons.  However, Pick ‘n Save will not accept internet coupons for free products.

Black Eyed Peas

Yesterday we posted about the 12 hour sale on Black Eyed Peas tickets that 103.7 KISS FM was promoting.  The tickets were marked down to $10.37 for the sale.  If you missed out on that sale, we have good news.  The password is still working and tickets are now only $8.37!   Just like yesterday’s sale, the tickets have the customary Ticketmaster fee of $6 per ticket, however even with the fee, you’ll be saving lots of money off of the $47.50 face value!  We have no idea how long the password will continue to work, so if you want to see the Black Eyed Peas for dirt cheap - act fast!  The discount password and Ticketmaster can be accessed by clicking here (you may need to allow pop-up windows in order to see the discount code).  When you select your tickets, select “Any Price”, rather than the other option.  If you select the other option, you won’t be able to find discount tickets.  The Black Eyed Peas show at the Bradley Center is at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday March 11, 2010.

There is a model train event being held at the Mitchell Park Domes this weekend, that is both fun and cheap!  On both Saturday and Sunday, the Domes will play host to the annual Collectible Train Lobby Display & Layout.  There are a variety of model train layouts from the smallest models to trains that are large enough for children and adults to ride.  The train displays are incredibly detailed, and lots of fun to look at.  In addition, the Floral Show Dome will be featuring a large model train layout with a Westward Ho theme.  The Westward Ho layout in Floral Show Dome is separate from the Collectible Train Lobby Display & Layout and will be on display through March 14, 2010.

The Mitchell Park Domes are open on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.  Admission is $6.50 for adults, and $5 for children ages 6-17, students, Milwaukee County seniors ages 60 and older, and disabled individuals.  If you own an Entertainment Book, there is a coupon for Buy One Get One Free admission to the Domes.

New Arby’s $1 Menu

Arby’s has followed McDonald’s and Burger King by introducing their own dollar menu.   The following items are part of the Arby’s $1 Value Menu:

  • Jr. Chicken Sandwich
  • Jr. Ham & Cheddar Melt
  • Jr. Roast Beef
  • Value Drink
  • Value Shake
  • Value Fries
  • Apple or Cherry Turnover

Some cheapskates have been known to buy a kids meal to save money.  Choosing 3 items (sandwich, fries, and drink) from the $1 menu is actually cheaper than purchasing the kids meal (although you’ll miss out on the toy).  The advertisements that Arby’s has been running recently indicate that the dollar menu is a limited time promotion.

If restaurant deals appeal to you, check out Restaurant.com, where you can get a $25 gift certificate to great local restaurants for anywhere from $2 to $10, depending on their current offer!
