sonic-logoIn February we wrote about Sonic’s new restuarant in West Milwaukee and how Sonic fans can earn free food by reloading their Sonic Card or enrolling in the Sonic Cruisers program.

Thanks to Coupon Cravings, we’ve learned about a breakfast sandwich coupon on Sonic’s website.  Click here to go to the Sonic website.  Just enter your email address and you’ll receive a coupon for a free CroisSONIC breakfast sandwich with the purchase of a drink.  (Keep in mind that you’ll be on a Sonic email list now, but you can always unsubscribe.)  The CroisSONIC breakfast sandwich is made with egg, cheese, and your choice of bacon or sausage.

If the Sonic by Miller Park is out of your way, perhaps one will be opening by you in the future. Metro Milwaukee Today recently wrote an update on the following Sonic projects in the Milwaukee area:

  • A Sonic is under construction in Waukesha on Moreland Boulevard
  • A Sonic is proposed at Waukesha’s Shoppes at Fox River
  • A Sonic should be under contruction soon in Oak Creek by Woodman’s on Howell Avenue
  • Sonic is aiming to open a restaurant in Greenfield, perhaps by the end of the year.

ironhorseThe new ultra chic and trendy Iron Horse Hotel in Milwaukee has some great room specials available.  The Travelzoo Top 20 list came out today, and included on the list are rooms at the Iron Horse for 50% off for stays through June 11th.  The Iron Horse opened last year in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighboorhood, just south of downtown, and in close proximity to the new Harley-Davidson Museum.  The loft style hotel, which was built in an old warehouse, is motorcycle themed with wood beams and exposed steel & Cream City brick walls.  The Iron Horse is ranked by TripAdvisor reviewers as the #1 hotel in Milwaukee.

Through this special, rooms at the Iron Horse are available for $96 a night, half of what you would typically pay.  To receive the special discount rate, reservations need to be booked by May 10th.  May 15th and 16th are blacked out.  All of the details of the special, including a link to reserve rooms can be found on the Travelzoo website.
